Proposition 63: Official Language
If it is so wrong to declare English the official language, why were so many petitions signed in order to get it on the November ballot? About three times the number of signatures that were needed.
Do you think if English-speaking people were to go to the countries these foreigners came from that they would print ballots in English or they would have special classes to teach us their language? I think not.
I am one of those “small-minded” people you spoke of, along with many more that say this is America, speak English!
Proposition 63 is not taking away their language or their culture. You are trying to mislead the public with your innuendoes.
I am voting Yes on Proposition 63. English should be the official language of California and of America.
