ORANGE COUNTY
Robert M. Moffit has been named vice president of marketing for Kawasaki Motors Corp. in Irvine. He replaces Hiroshi Noda, who has taken a senior management position with Kawasaki Heavy Industries in Japan.
Moffit first joined Kawasaki in 1975 and served as a district sales manager in Georgia and Alabama. He came to the Southern California headquarters in 1978 and served as assistant to the group vice president of marketing and as assistant to the president through 1981. He was subsequently named director of export sales and industry relations and most recently served as director of marketing research and industry relations.
