Prince George’s County Circuit Judge James Rea dismissed possession of cocaine and obstruction of justice charges against David Gregg and Terry Long, and scheduled a trial Nov. 17 for Brian Lee Tribble, who is accused of supplying Len Bias with the cocaine that killed him June 19.

All three were with the University of Maryland basketball star when he died in his dormitory room.

Tribble also is charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, distribution of cocaine and possession of PCP.

At a pretrial hearing, the prosecutor, Arthur Marshall, said that Long and Gregg, former teammates of Bias, “have promised to continue to cooperate with the state and assist us in our investigation.”

Tribble’s attorney, Thomas Morrow, said last week that his client would be exonerated of all charges against him “if Long and Gregg tell the truth.”
