Veterans Disability Aid Raised

COLUMBUS, Ga. —
President Reagan signed legislation on a campaign trip today that will grant a 1.5% cost-of-living increase to recipients of veterans disability compensation and their surviving spouses and children.
The bill, which the President signed near the Ft. Benning military base, also provides improvements in Veterans Administration health care, education, vocational rehabilitation and cemetery programs.
