San Dimas : Council Denies Permit
The San Dimas City Council has voted 3 to 2 to deny a permit for the sale of wine and beer at a proposed AM-PM mini-market on the northwest corner of Arrow Highway and San Dimas Avenue.
The vote came after residents said the area already has too many liquor outlets, although a city staff report stated that the state Office of Alcoholic Beverage Control had said the concentration of liquor licenses in the area is not high.
Although the market is owned by Atlantic Richfield Co., it would not be attached to a gasoline station.
