Drug Agency Elects President

Martin Stiles, assistant dean of Santa Monica College’s transfer center, has been elected president of the board of directors of New Start, a Santa Monica-based drug counseling agency for adults and youths.
Vera Martinez, dean of letters, has been selected by the American Educational Research Assn.’s committee to review proposals for its national conference.
