“Sidney Sheldon’s If Tomorrow Comes.” Read by Roger Moore. Two-cassette abridgement. Newman/Dove. The former 007 at his most earnestly mellifluous gives a very listenable account of Sheldon’s tale of a daughter’s ingenious schemes to avenge her mother. The success leads to a life in jet-set crime in which the victims are less sympathetic than the victors, who run more switchbacks than a Grand Prix course.
