Rhino has set a standard for CD retrospectives with excellent Everly Brothers and Little Richard packages, but England’s Charly label is the better buy for Lewis fans. Both collections contain Lewis’ essential “Whole Lot of Shakin’ Going On” and “Great Balls of Fire.” But the sound is more dynamic (especially in the higher ranges) on “Fireball” and you get more music. The 25-selection Charly release lasts 60 minutes, while the 18-song Rhino CD offers just 40 minutes. “Fireball”: “Greatest Hits”:
