South Bay : Clinic Gets State Contract
The Harbor-UCLA Family Health Clinic has received a $120,435 contract from the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development to continue funding three resident doctors and a faculty position in the family medicine residency program.
“The Harbor-UCLA family practice residency program has become a model for family physician training,” said Larry Meeks, director of the state office that awarded the contract. “It is a logical site to train family physicians for the multicultural neighborhoods of Los Angeles County.”
