Jewelry Worth $143,000 Missing at Sotheby’s

NEW YORK —
Police officers questioned employees Wednesday at Sotheby’s auction house in Manhattan, where $143,000 worth of jewelry was discovered missing from a safe in a storage room, a spokesman said. The spokesman said there was no sign of forced entry.
