The first Soviet cancer victim allowed to seek medical treatment in the United States arrived in New York with her husband, a Jewish refusenik who waited 20 years to emigrate. Tatyana Bogomolny, 47, said she received chemotherapy in Moscow but has not had any treatment since June. Her husband, Benjamin, 40, had the longest wait of any Jewish refusenik, a term for people denied permission by the Soviets to 1701669223
