Mormon Leader Benson Home After Surgery

SALT LAKE CITY —
Mormon Church President Ezra Taft Benson was recuperating at home Sunday after undergoing surgery to implant a pacemaker in his heart, a church spokesman said.
Benson, 87, is expected to resume a normal schedule of activities after resting a few days, spokesman Jerry Cahill said. Benson, leader of more than 6 million Mormons, left LDS Hospital on Saturday, two days after he underwent the heart surgery.
