Uprooting Exposition Park’s Rose Garden

Please, please, please get back to the drawing board before ruining our precious rose garden for parking spaces.

One sentence in your article (Nov. 7) should be enough to halt this tragedy--”More than a million people a year visit the garden, using it for picnics, weddings and quiet reflection.” Aren’t there pitifully few such places in Los Angeles already?
