Your article (Nov. 10 on police fixing media members’ parking tickets) noted that Newsline publisher Larry Remer was issued a ticket “for illegally parking in a loading zone near the federal courthouse to cover a vigil for peace.”
To say that Remer covered this event as an unbiased journalist is analogous to allowing Ronald Reagan to referee the recent battle for the Senate. Remer participated .
Remer is an advocate of the Sandinistas in Nicaragua and to lay claim to informing the public as his rationale for evading the payment of parking fines is a hoax perpetrated on all of us.
