President Reagan told the new Democrat-controlled Congress that he will veto measures that stray from his Administration’s financial and foreign policy commitments. Speaking from Camp David, Md., in his weekly radio address, he said: “I am looking forward to working with the 100th Congress. Together there is much we can accomplish.” Reagan said the tax bill he signed last month will give the United States the industrial world’s most modern tax code and “will make America more productive, more competitive abroad and more prosperous at home.”
