Turkish Cypriots Mark Anniversary

NICOSIA, Cyprus —
Turkish Cypriots celebrated the third anniversary of their unilateral declaration of independence in northern Cyprus on Saturday as Greek Cypriots ended two days of protests in the south of the divided island.
Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash took the salute at a military parade marking the anniversary of the northern republic, which is recognized only by Turkey.
