Times Writers Win Honors

Ruth Ryon and Don G. Campbell, Times real estate section staff writers, have received honorable mentions in journalism competitions sponsored by the National Assn. of Real Estate Editors and the National Assn. of Realtors.
Ryon was cited by the editors for a three-part series on toxic waste. Campbell’s award was for an article on the popularity of early loan payoffs.
The awards were announced at the National Assn. of Realtors convention last week in New York City.
