Western Center to Open Monday in Koreatown

Western Center, a $2.5-million retail shopping center at 820 S. Western Ave. will open Monday, according to Frank Bennett, president of Benco Development Group, Long Beach, developers.
Located in Koreatown, the center will feature Korean-style architecture.
The project is a joint venture of Benco and Vistar Financial Inc., Los Angeles. The architect is Rick Leslie & Associates, Van Nuys; the contractor is Justice & Associates, Van Nuys, and mortgage financing is being provided by Centennial Beneficial Mortgage, Orange.
