A family of Soviet emigres returned to the United States, their home for the last 10 years, after a six-day sojourn in their native land. David and Faina Gonta, their two teen-age sons and Mrs. Gonta’s mother arrived at Kennedy International Airport in New York aboard a British Airways flight from London. “The life (in the Soviet Union) 10 years ago was much different,” Mrs. Gonta said on the family’s arrival. The Gontas had been homesick for their native Ukraine, so they sold their belongings to raise the air fare and arrived in Moscow last Monday. “My children decided right away to come back,” said Mrs. Gonta, adding that an official told them the older son should join the army right away.
