A woman, whose ex-husband was arrested in New Jersey for allegedly abducting their son eight years ago, had thought about kidnaping the boy back, according to a published report. Candyce McWilliams of San Francisco told the San Francisco Examiner she had seen the 11-year-old boy as recently as Christmas, but her former husband hovered over them “and we were never alone.” On several occasions, she considered kidnaping the boy, she said, “but that’s not very easy.” The mother was reunited late Thursday with her son, Thageron Linere Allen. McWilliams’ former husband, Blair Allen, 34, remained in custody at Atlantic County Jail at Hamonton, N.J., in lieu of $100,000 bail. Allen was arrested by police in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., who found him in possession of several explosive devices. He had been teaching at a New Jersey college.
