ROLES FOR ABT PRODUCTION

American Ballet Theatre has announced casting for principal roles in its eight-performance run of “The Nutcracker” Dec. 9-14 at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa.

The roles in Mikhail Baryshnikov’s production of Tchaikovsky’s ballet are of Clara, the Nutcracker Prince and Drosselmeyer.

Dec. 9, 8 p.m.: Alessandra Ferri (Clara), Kevin McKenzie (the Nutcracker Prince), Victor Barbee. (Drosselmeyer).

Dec. 10, 8 p.m.: Marianna Tcherkassky, Johan Renvall, Michael Owen.

Dec. 11, 8 p.m.: Amanda McKerrow, Patrick Bissell, Raymond Serrano.

Dec. 12, 8 p.m.: Cheryl Yeager, Julio Bocca (debut in the role of the Nutcracker Prince), Barbee.

Dec. 13, 2 p.m.: Ferri, McKenzie, Barbee.

Dec. 13, 8 p.m.: Tcherkassky, Renvall, Owen.

Dec. 14, 2 p.m.: McKerrow, Bissell, Serrano.

Dec. 14, 8 p.m.: Deirdre Carberry, Ross Stretton, Daniel Baudendistel (debut in the role of Drosselmeyer).
