Gasoline Tanker Truck Hits Building; Driver Dies

NILES, Mich. —
A tanker truck carrying 14,000 gallons of gasoline veered off a highway Tuesday, smashed into an abandoned building and exploded in flames, killing the driver, police said. It took firefighters more than an hour to control the fire.
