Wickes Cos. said it is changing the name of 39 recently acquired Ole’s stores to Builders Emporium . . . Carter Hawley Hale Stores said it has signed definitive agreements to sell its John Wanamaker division in Philadelphia to Woodward & Lothrop for $183 million; in addition, Woodward & Lothrop will assume $29 million in long-term Wanamaker debt . . . U.S. factory shipments of electronic equipment and components totaled an estimated $151.6 billion for the first nine months of 1986.
