The madam of an alleged $7-million-a-year call girl ring agreed Wednesday to surrender $80,000 of her profits in order to avoid a prison term of up to four years.

Mildred Scarpa, 43, of Brooklyn, handed over a certified check for that amount after pleading guilty in Suffolk County Court to a reduced charge of attempted promotion of prostitution.

The $80,000, surrendered under a state law that permits forfeiture of money earned from criminal activities, was the profit she earned from operations in Suffolk County, an assistant district attorney said.
