It was very interesting watching the supercilious Michael Medved on a recent “Sneak Previews,” speaking smugly with such scorn about Hollywood’s tendency to “sequelize” itself to death, as well as constantly “ripping itself off” of similar good ideas. He should know. As author of “The Golden Turkey Awards” (Parts I and II), “The Hollywood Hall of Shame,” and his contributions to “the one that started it all,” “The 50 Worst Films of All Time,” it seems he has done very well for himself by doing the same thing--taking one idea and beating it to death. More power to all of them.
