Santa Ana : Rancho Santiago College Names Vice Chancellor
Carter Dornan, dean of humanities and social sciences at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, has been named vice chancellor of academic affairs at Rancho Santiago College, college officials announced.
Dornan, 48, will join Rancho Santiago on Dec. 29. His responsibilities will include development, coordination and administration of all district instructional programs and services, officials at the Santa Ana campus said.
While at Mt. San Antonio College, Dornan established interdisciplinary courses in the humanities and developed an honors program in English and speech. Dornan’s degrees include a doctorate in communications and drama from the University of Southern California and a master’s in drama and speech from Occidental College.
