American Businessphones Inc. of Irvine has appointed Gary R. Peacock to the newly created position of senior vice president and treasurer.

A certified public accountant, Peacock previously served as chief financial officer for AirCal in Newport Beach and Wings West, a new commuter airline.

“Gary’s 25 years of experience in the financial field will be a tremendous asset to American Businessphones,” said Frank J. Feitz, president of the telephone system supply company. “With our planned growth, a person with Gary’s background can help shape the success of the company.”
