Skeleton Discovered in Woods Near Studio City
Los Angeles police homicide detectives and the county coroner’s office are investigating the discovery Wednesday of a skeleton near Studio City, police said.
A transient from Canada found the remains about 9 a.m. while seeking a place to camp in a wooded area north of Mulholland Drive and west of Coldwater Canyon Boulevard, Detective Howard Landgren. Police were unable to immediately discern the sex of the body and did not know how long it might have been there, Landgren said.
