Santa Monica : School Board Elects President

The Santa Monica-Malibu Board of Education has chosen board member Mary Kay Kamath to serve as board president. Peggy Lyons was named vice president. Both will serve until November, 1988.
Kamath, who was elected to the board in 1981 and reelected in 1984, replaces President Dick Williams, who retired from the board. Lyons was appointed to the board in 1982 and elected in 1984.
