Local News in Brief : Pacoima Man Dies From Crash Injuries
A 24-year-old Pacoima man was fatally injured Sunday night when the car he was riding in was struck by another vehicle, police said.
The man, who was not identified pending notification of relatives, died at Holy Cross Hospital after the 7:30 p.m. accident, said Officer Bill Wilkins.
The accident occurred when the car in which he was a passenger tried to make a left turn from Paxton Street onto Telfair Avenue in Pacoima and was struck by an oncoming car on Paxton, said Wilkins. The victim suffered head and internal injuries, Wilkins said.
No arrests were made, police said.
