NATO Chief Hospitalized

WASHINGTON —
Gen. Bernard Rogers, commander-in-chief of NATO military forces, was reported in satisfactory condition Thursday at Walter Reed Army Medical Center following surgery of an undisclosed nature. An aide indicated the operation was not of an emergency nature.
