Fond Remembrances of Actor Cary Grant

Many years ago I knew my favorite actor Cary Grant lived at Santa Monica beach. I went early one Sunday summer moring to enjoy the beautiful ocean (also hoping to catch a glimpse of Grant). I did see him standing on the porch of his home smiling at the ocean. I was too timid to say hello or speak to him, but I could tell he was a friendly kind young man. I knew he enjoyed the beach too, as I did also.

A few years later my friend (a musician) played her violin on the set of “None But the Lonely Heart.” My friend said Cary Grant’s scenes with Ethel Barrymore who played his mother, were wonderful.

I’ll always remember that lovely summer morning long ago when Cary and I were quite alone on the beautiful beach in Santa Monica.
