Reagan, Iran, Contras and Breaching the Public Trust
I support President Reagan’s policy in this Iran/contra situation because I believe he is carrying out the mandate of the voters.
He was reelected by a 67% majority of the voters who approved his policies in both domestic and foreign affairs.
Why is their such an outcry from these voters in looking for a scapegoat in this media-contrived crisis?
It seems to me we have changed to a new slogan: You can fool all the people all of the time.
