Wyoming Democrat Will Head Election Commission

WASHINGTON —
Wyoming Democrat Scott E. Thomas on Tuesday was elected chairman of the Federal Election Commission for the 1987 term. He will succeed Republican Joan Aikens of Pennsylvania. Thomas Josefiak, a Republican from Massachusetts, was elected vice chairman.
