Avalon : Moratoriums Extended
The city has extended its moratorium on the installation of home satellite television antennas until Feb. 15 to allow its staff more time to prepare a new ordinance regulating them. The moratorium has been in effect since May, 1985.
The city also extended its moratorium on new businesses in Avalon Harbor until Feb. 28. A citizens committee and the council are working on ways to reduce the congestion of businesses and commercial boats in the harbor.
