Black History Video Honored
PASADENA —
“The Changing Rose,” a videotape depicting the history of Pasadena’s black residents by using oral histories and still photographs, has won a certificate of commendation from the American Assn. for State and Local History.
The videotape was created by the Pasadena Historical Society. The tape may be borrowed from the society, 470 W. Walnut St., for a $15 refundable deposit. Copies also are available at Pasadena Central Library, 285 E. Walnut St. for $2.50 a day.
