The editor of Colombia’s second biggest newspaper was slain by two gunmen on a motorcycle, police in Bogota said. Guillermo Cano, 61, also part owner of the daily El Espectador, was driving away from the newspaper’s plant when he was shot six times. Cano had published reports accusing drug traffickers of harming the country. Colombia’s drug traffickers have been blamed for the murders of 14 federal judges in the last two years.
