Canada to Close Embassies

OTTAWA —
Canada is closing its embassies in Finland, Ecuador and the United Arab Emirates and its consulates in Philadelphia; Hamburg, West Germany; Marseilles, France, and Perth, Australia, as part of government efforts to cut costs. The Canadian Press news agency reported Tuesday that the moves will save $7.2 million.
