Reagan Promoting General

WASHINGTON —
President Reagan has nominated Air Force Lt. Gen. James Abrahamson, director of the “Star Wars” anti-missile research program, for promotion to the rank of four-star general, the Pentagon announced Thursday. Abrahamson is to remain in his present assignment.
