Pilot Killed; Power Cut

HOUSTON —
A private plane crashed in flames north of Houston early Thursday, killing the pilot, slicing power lines and leaving about 30,000 customers without electricity for 2 1/2 hours. Investigators were trying to determine the cause of the crash.
