The $50-million Pacific Commerce Center, fronting the Long Beach Freeway at Del Amo Boulevard in Long Beach, has held its grand opening.

The 33-acre project is a joint venture of the Carson-based developer, Overton, Moore & Associates Inc. and Copley Real Estate Advisors of Boston, and is tailored to meet the expansion needs of traditional Long Beach area businesses.

Pacific Commerce Center ultimately will consist of 600,000 square feet of space. Phase 1 comprises about 220,000 square feet of distribution and sales and service space in two divisible buildings.
