AirCal, American to Merge Frequent-Flyer Programs

AirCal said it will combine its frequent-flyer benefits program with that of American Airlines on Jan. 1 as part of the two airlines’ November merger agreement.

Customers enrolled in AirCal’s “AirFair” program will be included in American’s “AAdvantage” service, a spokesman for the airlines said.
