Chula Vista Motorist Dies in Colorado Crash

A Chula Vista man died Saturday of injuries suffered in a single-car accident Christmas morning that killed another California man.
Joe Ferrer, 28, suffered head injuries in the accident and died at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo., the State Patrol said.
His companion, Brian Parks, 27, of Riverside, died Christmas morning when the car Ferrer was driving went out of control and overturned on Interstate 70 just west of Rifle.
