The treasurer for the presidential campaign of Lyndon H. LaRouche Jr. and another aide to the political extremist were released on bond pending their trial in Boston on conspiracy charges. Treasurer Edward Spannaus and Robert Greenberg, identified by the FBI as a member of LaRouche’s “security and intelligence staff,” were among 13 people indicted in connection with an alleged scheme to illegally raise money for LaRouche. Both had been held without bail since their indictment last week.
