Fuel Pollutes French Coast

CHERBOURG, France —
Kini Kersten, a West German container ship, has leaked 60 tons of its own fuel into the English Channel and soiled 1,968 feet of beach since running aground south of Cherbourg on Thursday, port officials said Friday.
