Morehouse Industries Posts Quarterly Profit

Morehouse Industries Inc., a Fullerton maker of industrial chemical process equipment, posted net earnings of $51,300 for its first quarter of fiscal 1987, ended Nov. 30. The profit contrasts with a first-quarter loss of $31,000 last year. The company attributed the profit to the sale of inventory related to the firm’s Acme welder product line.
Sales for the first three monthes of fiscal 1987 were $1.03 million, down slightly from last year’s first quarter sales of $1.04 million.
