Israeli Papers Struck

TEL AVIV —
Printers of all of Israel’s daily newspapers began a 48-hour strike today to press their demand for more pay, union Secretary-General Meir Goldstein said. In a telephone interview, he said the walkout would prevent all nine Israeli dailies from appearing Thursday or Friday.
