Santa Monica : Agencies Get Funds for Needy
Three agencies have received contracts from Los Angeles County to provide services for the poor, the homeless and alcoholics.
St. John’s Hospital and Medical Center received a contract for more than $86,000 to provide a mobile outreach team serving the mentally ill and homeless.
Clare Foundation received a contract for $25,000 to provide an alcohol-free living center for the homeless.
The Assistance League of Southern California Family Services Agency received a contract for more than $86,000 to help Asian-Americans in the Santa Monica-West Los Angeles area.
