The Rams’ John Robinson, who was originally named to coach the South team in the Jan. 17 Senior Bowl game in Mobile, Ala., has agreed to take over the North team so that Don Shula can coach his son, Alabama quarterback Mike Shula, on the South team.

Shula is a replacement for Kansas City Chief Coach John Mackovic, who was fired Thursday.

Eric Tillman, general manager of the college all-star game, said Robinson has agreed to switch on one condition.

“He said he’d be glad to do it as long as Don was agreeable to trading Dan Marino for a 12th round pick,” Tillman said.
