USD Women Defeat New Mexico, 75-48
SAN DIEGO —
The University of San Diego built a 15-point halftime lead Friday night en route to a 75-48 nonconference women’s basketball victory over New Mexico in the USD Sports Center.
Julie Evans led USD (7-7) with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Karen Skemp had 11 and Paula Mascari 10.
USD led at halftime, 36-21, making 17 of 34 shots. USD shot 50% from the field for the game. New Mexico had 28 turnovers.
Connie Jensen led New Mexico (5-6) with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
